A Village’s Dream

Hello well-wishers,

My name is Patience Mutesi, I am a local resident of Nakabango, a small village in Estern Uganda.

I have grown up watching most of my fellow students in the village drop out of primary and secondary schools, something that has given me deep sorrow. Being poor we could only afford government schools. Teachers continuously asked for money from students to cater for paper-work expenses and their apparent hard manual work in organizing our academic information. Our parents are peasants and can not afford such.

My dream from childhood has been to empower all these local village schools in the country so as remove pressure from the poor innocent pupils/students.

With the help of my friends we have built a system available at https://schoolskipper.org/ that we intend to extend it to all poor schools for free all over the country.

I am thus humbly calling for everyone's generous help, any contribution is valuable and can greatly help me in extending this service. We need to provide equipment to schools to access the service, train, create awareness, get server for the system etc. We need a total amount of $4620 out of which we have already received $200 from locals. On behalf of us all, we appreciate your generosity and every single contribution you make of whatever amount.
