A Rose with Stevens Johnson Syndrome

She is Amy Rose Ringor and was diagnosed with Stevens Johnson Syndrome--a rare disease affecting the skin and mucous membranes due to an adverse reaction to certain medications or infection.Around ninety percent of her face and body is covered with wounds,which makes it hard for her to eat,stand or sit.

She is a mother of 7 and her youngest is just 2 years old.Her partner is a construction worker while Amy is a vendor at the local market.Their source of income is scarce which makes their daily living a hand-to-mouth existence.

Her struggle started with just two boils last February that developed into itchy patches,which later became blisters.When her skin started to peel off two months ago,she finally seek medical attention and was admitted at the district hospital. But due to lack of funds,Amy opted to be discharged.At home,her condition worsened through the weeks that followed.Thankfully,a concerned neighbor shared photos of her current state on facebook 5 days ago.This opened an opportunity for the community to help.With the joint effort of people who saw the said post,she was given immediate aid.But because of the severity of her case,Amy was referred to another hospital outside the municipality.With their family's current economic status,they are in dire need of financial help to support her treatment.
