A new laptop for school works

Hello! thanks by dropping by to read this. So i have been using this laptop since 2010 for school projects since i was in high school up to now college. So as the system requirements of softwares that i used are updating and upgrading my laptop can't handle to run newer versions of softwares like Blender, Hitfilm for animation, video and audio editing.

Since my mother is the only one who takes care of me and my brother and also takes care of the household expenses/bills i can't ask her to buy me a laptop since it is expensive.
