A Mother’s Fight

No child would ever want to lose a mother. With this journey of Elizabeth Noriesta, a mother, a sister, a grandmother and a FIGHTER, we would like to knock on your generous hearts to support us in this battle. She was diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinoma cancer a few months back and hase ndured 12 debilitating sessions of chemotherapy. Currently, she is gaining enough strength for her scheduled “total gastrectomy” (process of removing the entire stomach) this June 2018.

When we found out that she has cancer, the first question that came to our minds was "Why her?" when she has always been the family’s rock and sourceo f courage. At some point, we doubted our capabilities to push through witht he procedures that her doctors recommended. But our hearts says we neededt o FIGHT.... We needed to FIGHT for her and with her. We are uncertain of what tomorrow holds but we are sure that we can make a difference today tol engthen her life. It was heartbreaking to witness how she remained strong amidst the pain and physical torture that this Big C has caused her to endure.

What keeps us going is the genuine LOVE of God for her and all those who care for her. He may have allowed this to happen but He will not leave usi n this battle. Our Lord is an awesome Lord and He is fighting with us :)
