Campaign Story
Our mother, Florencia Barbuco, is a public school teacher residing in the Philippines. A single mother to her children, she has been single-handedly supporting her family through teaching while doing part time tutoring and selling stuff to make both ends meet. As if her struggles are not enough, she complained of progressive body malaise which led to her hospitalization. She was then diagnosed with Stage V Chronic Kidney Disease.
She is currently on leave for her illness has gotten worse despite all the procedures she's been through. One of her kidneys has already deteriorated and the other one is already severely damaged. Her treatment options are limited to maintenance medicine and hemodialysis or kidney transplant.
At present, she is undergoing hemodialysis three times a week but her lab results are not improving. Her creatinine level is still high and her hemoglobin is really low. Her blood pressure is fluctuating. She is becoming really weak in between dialysis. Time is of the essence. She needs kidney transplant the soonest possible time but our current financial status does not permit us to push through with the procedure.
In this trying times, we are seeking for your help and support to help save our mother's life. We have and are still exhausting all means to gather funds but they are not enough. Please know that any amount of donation will help us greatly in this difficult time of uncertainty.
We are more than happy and willing to answer any further questions and give update about her present condition. Thank you and may the good Lord shower his bountiful blessings upon us all.
"People helping people makes this world a better place."
Forever grateful,
Fae Portia Barbuco
