“A-mic” children exploring Budapest

We are a team of local and international volunteers that works with the kids from “a-mic” house, the home for bright and jolly children. The kids come from families with difficult situations, so here they have the opportunity to grow and develop in a proper family environment.

Since we started working with them we realized how amazing they are. We really love to spend time with them, now they have been part of our lives, that is the reason why we want to help them to make a trip to Budapest. Since they got really good results at schools and the activities they did we want the trip as a reward, they don´t have the chance to travel that much, so we really want to make this trip possible for them. It will also help them to get involved with another culture as part of their development process.

To tell you a few things about the kids:

Andy is the smallest from there, she is always smiling and full of energy, we fell that she is the soul of the house.

Andreea is the girl who always has a big, contagious smile on her face. She also has a special talent, she knows how to bake.

Maria is the one who is always supporting all the kids, she is always giving us ideas for the games, and she always wants everyone to have a good time together.

Ramona is really full of talent, every time we do an artistic activity like singing or dancing she is the most excited, also she sings pretty good.

Now we will go on with the boys who are really hardworking, too.

Cristi is very friendly, always willing to help other people. He is very communicative and caring as he is interested in the well being of everyone in the house.

Calin is so funny, even if he is not the most talkative he's always proactive and loves to get involved in all the activities.

Gabi is very sensitive, is the oldest one and taking care of the children, also he has a special talent, he has been writing poetry for many years now.

We have a budget at the center, but a trip for 10 is really expensive, so every donation will help us to increase that budget and get closer to our goal.
