A LETTER TO SANTA

I initially never intended to set up a Fund Raiser or a Campaign to help this little man. But having received many emails from people around the World I have decided to set up a campaign to primarily help him get his dream, more so then financial donations.

Christmas is literally 14 days away and he does not want anything, he believes in Santa and is a great kid, but is one wish is to Meet and to Swim with Winter the Dolphin in Clearwater Florida. He is Irish and is just 12 yrs old. He is a kid, that has lived through abuse and has never had a voice until now. It takes guts to write what he did, and more so to then be okay with the world knowing how he felt. Child Abuse is not just sexual or physical, the trauma of living in a home with Domestic Abuse and Violence is as damaging and traumatic as you can get.

He has a application in for a Holiday Visa for himself and his Mom with the US Embassy in Ireland,due to the horrific upset and distress that he suffered when at the Embassy in Dublin last summer, the application was made in Belfast. However Dublin US Embassy did tweet to say they would be in contact, but 24 hrs later still nothing.

I want him to smile, to know that miracles happen and that it is okay to tell and to speak out about your pain in life. We owe him that much, he has done no wrong, is the innocent victim that is voiceless, until now. I know that we can all put pressure on the Dept of State and Homeland to help get their holiday Visas. His mom is a professional, has no criminal record either. The only issue they both have is that they over stayed a Waiver but NOT a Visa, when they reported a man for criminal activities within the states, and then had to flee for safety for about 5 weeks.

I have learned that once they did not overstay by six months on the waiver that this is NOT GROUNDS FOR  REFUSAL of a visa, so Please help to make him smile. If he can not get there before Christmas at least if all resolved then he can have it to look forward to just after the holidays., But he has to be given his dream, his wish as if any little boy deserves his own Miracle on 34th street it is this little man.

His letter can not but break your heart, Please help to make his dream a reality. As I said this is not about Financial Help as his mom has funds for him, she has been saving. It is about him been given a Holiday Visa with his mom, so that for once he can be like other kids and just be a kid.
