Campaign Story
Last Saturday August 1, my Mommy Thelma was rushed to the hospital because she was really weak, and having a hard time to move and breathe.
We were looking to bring her to a government hospital but all of them were in full capacity. We had no choice but to rush her to the ER of St.Luke’s Global. Initial finding was kidney failure and the Doctors advised for immediate dialysis.Good thing, she responded well on her first dialysis session.
But last night August 3, it breaks my heart that it was confirmed that my mom is COVID-19 positive. She is in ICU and currently intubated.We are not sure where she got the virus, because she doesn’t go out since ECQ. I might be the carrier because I’m the only one who goes out and I had to work too. Although I was negative in my swab test, with the recent development, I have to undergo a swab test again, and will start self quarantine now and praying that everything will go well with my family.
I know God is in control and he has plans.
It is with our humble hearts that we seek your generosity in these very trying times. Our combined resources as a family are not enough to finance the treatment of mommy Thelma. Any amount will go a long way and will be very much appreciated.
Our entire family is surrendering our latest challenge in the hands of the Lord. I know the Lord has a purpose for allowing us to go through this experience, and that something good will come out of this. Please continue to pray for and with us.
