A Good Son: In Dire Need of Help for his Ailing Mother

GOOD DAY EVERYONE.

'Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person'. This literally makes sense every time we can extend a hand to someone especially the closest ones. For the road to recovery, we can be united as one.

In this view, may I share Ryan's sentiments, experiences and hopes as the journey towards healing is about to positively obtain. Let us spiritually, emotionally, and by all means support Ryan and her mother financially.

"My mother, ADA MANUEL, 43, is admitted at Perpetual Succour Hospital. The doctor's impression when she was rushed in the emergency room was a kidney complication. My mother was having a hard time waking up and cannot even talk or show her tongue out.

Physicians ordered countless tests and found out a lot of complications on top of her Kidney problems, to wit:

1. CT Scan result shows a STROKE in her brain which affects her verbal ability.
2. X-ray result shows approximately 1.5L of fluid in her Lungs
3. Extracted fluid in her lungs has a preliminary result that mom has TUBERCULOSIS
4. Transvaginal ultrasound shows a CYST in her ovary (I don't know which side) which needs to be checked further
5. Lastly, we are still waiting for the final result of lung fluid to determine if there are MALIGNANCIES in her lungs.

We're on our 18th day in the hospital and we decided to move her out and seek treatment in a public hospital. However, we are unable to do so not unless our hospital bill will be settled. Our health insurance coverage has been exhausted and I am unable to handle the expenses anymore.

DIALYSIS SESSIONS of my mom have been deferred until God knows when because we are unable to pay for it. We badly need help so that my mom can continue her treatment. She's all that I have in my life. I am the eldest child. Next to me is just 12 yrs old and the youngest is 6.

I am asking for your help so that we can move her out to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center. That is our only hope to make sure she gets better. May God bless us all!
