A father’s heart

A father is known to have a strong heart to protect and provide for his family. Just like every father who are considered the hero of his children and wife; John Barbosa, is a 46 years old loving father to his two beautiful children, one in Grade 11 and the other in Grade 6 with special needs. He provides everything that his family needs. And just like every father, he wanted nothing but the best for his family. John is a very selfless father and a faithful and loving husband to his wife. He makes all the sacrifices needed and works doubly hard just to provide well enough for their family.

Unfortunately, this father's heart has weakened. He is having hard time doing all these lately. John is diagnosed with Aortic valve Regurgitation.

Aortic Valve Regurgitation is a condition where the Aortic Valve allows some of the blood that was pumped out of your heart's main pumping chamber (left ventricle) to leak back into it. The leakage may prevent your heart from efficiently pumping blood to the rest of your body. As a result, John's heart chambers, both left and right starts to enlarge. Making it hard for his heart to pump blood and weaker.

Doctor's have suggested to have an Open Heart Surgery to be done ASAP so they can replace his Aortic Valve to save John's life. Since the operation is very high risk and his body is getting weaker by day as well, a team of doctors assessed that he needs special apparatus during the surgery to aid in keeping his organs functioning well and avoid further complications.. They call it Centrimag and EcMo machines. These machines are very costly yet it is very much needed for his operation to be successful.

Since John is the breadwinner of their family and his children are still young and one of his children has special needs. His family are now struggling in funding his medical needs. We are knocking on everyone's kind and generous, blessed heart to help us raise the funds needed for his operation and recovery expenses in the hospital.

Aside from fervent prayers, donating any amount would be highly appreciated. Let us help this father to regain his health and strength to still be able to grow old and continue a life with his beloved wife and guide his children as they grow.

His wife needs his husband. His children needs their father. Let us be an instrument in helping save a father's heart.
