“A Dream Of Change” Fund

Hello everyone, my name is Cristian-Cosmin Trandafir, I am 25 and I have a dream, and that is to learn and change the world that I live in for the better through kind acts (even though from my perspective this should be the norm) and creative engineering, science and technology.

I feel like I was always like this, but I wasn't aware of it, taking things apart, learning how they work, and then putting them back together, making things out of scraps to make them have a function, loving to draw, and being a dreamer, doing sports, not carring about patriotism or nationalism, not carring of other people's "race/nationality/religion/political views", loving nature and animals, wanting to make a change for the better, even though I live/lived through tough times, I had two times Peripheral Facial Nerver Palsy while doing sports, that put a end to that career, had a chance to pursue Fine Arts, but being young I made mistakes of going into another direction, even though I had potential. After disenthralling myself over the years from the mindset of society(that is a more self-centered view, and a wrong set of values, like: making money, patriotism, family being the most important things in the world; I stopped and looked at it as everything is my family: my brother and mother, you, your neighbour, black, white..., the animals, the seas, the plants, the air, the sun, everything needs the same attention to make it a better world) I did this through shutting down the TV, exposing myself to other cultures and people, sciences, engineering, debates, activism, nature...

Now I am an idealist, activist, ecologist, humanitarian... and want to make stuff, and not for me, but for everyone else, to find solutions through engineering. But because my father died 3 years ago of liver cancer, he being the one that was holding up the house, I had to take responsibility, and had to quit my studies, sold my car(bought a 100$ used bicycle - the best decision of my life), just to keep the family at float. Now even though we didn't escape that float situation, I got a job where I can do a college degree(from a free time point of view), but because the salary here is so low(I make 240$/month full time job), we need two family members(thats how many we are in this household) just to survive, so I needed to start this fund. Since I don't have any other options and don't want to lose any more years not going to school and not put into practice what I learn, and help people by giving them real solutions to their problems.

The goal of 8250$ will cover my tuition fees for a Mechatronics Engineering(me wanting to become a polymath, and to work with other types of engineers and being able to understand them), and if I could hit that, would be amazing, everything on top of that will go into books or charity acts for foster kids, or old people that have a hard time surviving.
