A Dozen Trees For Every Homestead in Every Estate

Being a crypto enthusiast and an en environmentalist at the sema time is a conflict within the same person. With the vast impact crypto has on the environment, it is impossible to choose one path.
However, tat should be a ting of the past after the 420 Green Estates Project is fully functional. It`s a project that aims to reward practical acts of environment conservation with it`s native token 420GE.
First things first, I intend to build a foundation of the project in my hometown Kitengela, in the ouotskirts of Nairobi. I started it on 13th Dec 2021 knocking on neighbours`s gates asking if they would like 10-12 trees planted in their compounds with my team of 5-8 friends. Surprisingly, none declined. By the time i ran out of funds, we had planted 289 trees in 21 compounds in the estate. Despite all the challenges te start was a success and the community appreciated my efforts.
According to my calculations, it costs approximately $1.5 to plant a single tree putting to account of the buying price of the tree, transportation and volunteers` allowances. To plant a dozen trees in a single homestead costs approximately $18. Maintainance, watering and grooming is the responsibility of the family occupying the compound.
Being a semi-arid area, Kitengela stands to benefit tremendously from this project as well as Kenya and the world on its efforts to combat desertification. The benefits of the project are long-term and could be realised after a long period, but without such efforts there will be no benefits to be realised after a long period.
I would also like to partner with charities, NGO`s and individual enveromentalists to take this project far and beyond to every corner of the world. The 420 Green Estates aims to diversify to other conservation efforts like beach clean-up, research on more innovative environment conservation, counter-CO2 innovations and even nuclear waste management.
