A Blessing In Disguise

Dark Horse Theatre Company are looking to raise funds for their first production (A new comedy 'A blessing in disguise) which will be featured in the Galway Fringe Festival 2014. Dark Horse Theatre Company was set up in 2014 by Alan Grant and Aaron Byrne to break the mould with new writing in Irish theatre . This is the companies first production and is being produced by Aaron Byrne and written and directed by Alan Grant. It is a comedy about the about a young couple (Valerie and Jim) on the verge of getting married who seek a marriage blessing from Valerie's eccentric , wannabe actor father Mr. Jenkins who becomes ever egocentric after he lands a big role in a television show. Valerie and Jim cope with differing views on the subjects of Kids all the while dealing with Valerie's eccentric parents and some revealing truths coming to light. The play has a great and talented cast featuring Cillein Mcevoy, Shamim De Brun , Francis Donnelly and Niamh Clancy. The play runs from July 21st to 26th in the Galway Fringe Festival.
