A 3D printable, low detail, Jeepers Creepers truck

Many people loves the truck from Jeepers Creepers movie. BEATNGU.

My name is Jorge Wemyss. I live in Santiago, Chile, and love that truck.

I searched all over the internet and never found a 3d model of the truck, evenmore, There are no Chevy 41 COE blueprints and it's difficult to find pictures.

You can't even find scale models of any kind, besides this one:

A friend started to work in a handcrafted model, based on a plastic model from revel, but the model is a light truck that looks like the Chevy 41 COE.

My friend is undergoing a hard time to transform this in a COE truck. He had to raise the body. The truck is even wider, so he had to cut the body in two from back to front and fill the gap with putty..

He couldn´t find the appropriate wheels and asked me for help. I have a cheap 3D printer, so i worked many hours adapting tires and wheels hubs and doing some 3D editing and got the job done:

Once i finished, shared the wheels in Thingiverse and printed them for my friend.

This is the result:

I liked the printed wheels very much, so, i started to work in a 3d model of the full truck. The first version is this:

I used a truck model that i found in a russian site as base. After many improvements, the final result is:

Now i'm working in a 3D printable model. I'm not a profressional 3D modeler, so it takes many, many hours to get a truck split in printable parts that could be printed in a 20x20 cheap 3D printer.

I have spent easily 500 hours and a fund help would be very helpful. I'm a 52 years old computer engineer, and as you could imagine, my job is getting harder to keep, so your help would be appreciated.

If you are generous and donate over $20, at the end of February 2019 you will be receiving the collection of STL files for printing.

Some parts like rear view mirrors, handles, steering wheel will be missing, because you don't get good results with these things in 3D printing. So you will have to provide these parts, will need parts sanding, gluing, assembling and finally painting. you will have to provide the cristals too, in the first model versión, at least. i promise cristals for a second version at the end of March.

Body, seats, doors

Chassis, radiator, axles, front bumper

All the items are already printable, except for this:

I´m working on making it manifold, so it can be printed.

I also need to spend some time adding some support for helping with the assembly.

I have never printed them, so i have to make a test print yet.
