Building A Home For Maegan

It is our dream to see our children do well in life; when you see them face difficulties and challenges specially during their first year of marriage, we do our best to help. My daughter-in-law gave birth less than a month ago, and because she had a hard time giving birth, they decided to live temporarily with her family, while my son continue to work. However, the place was situated at a far end of a city and his daily commute would consume not only almost half of his monthly salary, the travel time by public transport can be as long as 3-4 hours one-way. They decided to move into a house owned by a deceased relative which is accessible to their place of work but it is old and almost dilapidated and from the looks of it, needs major renovation. Our priority is to make the house be as livable as possible specially with their new-born baby. The house suffered much because of the typhoons which terribly hit our country and most of the repair works are the roof, ceiling and flooring since the water have seeped in. But the house can be repaired and made-over to fit their little family. Unfortunately, we can't see ourselves raising the fund to do this project. The cost of the renovation cannot be met by us. We have another child whom we still send to school; and the majority of our income go to our daily expenses and medical bills.

We want to help them fulfill their dream of having their own place where it is safe and homey not only for them but for their growing family, and the sooner we can raise the funds, the better for them so they can save on the expenses and be able to spend quality time with their newborn baby. The money to be raised will be used for the improvement of the house.
