This fund will be used for my mother's cancer treatment. The goal is for my mother, Doris Hona Dellosa to be able to go to China, to undergo a promising modern way to treat cancer. The hospital name is St. Stamford International Medical, a modern cancer hospital in Guangzhou China (Website, articles and references at the end of this post) It's a series of procedures that will target the tumor directly without affecting the rest of the body. Our mother has been suffering cancer for 4 years now and all the other conventional treatments has been doing great damage in her body. The promising treatment that will be done in China is the light at the end of the tunnel for our family. The fund will be a huge help to her and our family, not only for the treatment in China, but also for the ongoing treatment she is having at the present. We are in an urgent need and we are aiming to get enough funds within this month to go for the procedure. The cost estimate is around PHP 500,000. My mother has been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in 2015. She had a surgery to remove both of her ovaries the time she was diagnosed. Since 2015 she had a series of treatments already. Endured chemotherapy 3 times and undergo radiation therapy as well.

She had another surgery in 2019 to remove a malignant tumor the size of two palms in her abdomen. It had to be removed since it was an obstruction and was blocking the intestine preventing her to have a normal bowel movement.

Now, she is admitted again because she cannot tolerate eating normally anymore since she is having trouble digesting the food and would throw up everytime she tries. She would have never ending stomach ache and body cramps. She still have 2 big tumors on her back, and others growing in other organs. According to the recent findings, she is now in stage 4 of Cancer which means the cancer has spread (metastasised) to other parts of the body to form secondary cancers.

Doctors suggested 2 more chemotherapy and that's something she can no longer go through given her body is becoming weaker and weaker due to the fact she can no longer eat normally. From a healthy body, she became very thin and fragile looking. My brave mother who had raised us all those years, is now fighting a battle against her own body and she is losing little by little. She might be wearing a smile most of the time but i know she is going through a lot. She is so brave and strong willed.

We have come acrossed a hospital in China, namely, St. Stamford International Medical which is a modern cancer hospital in Guangzhou in China (BOAI Medical Services) They have a promising way of treating Cancer called Green chemotherapy and Microwave Ablation, which is said to be less dangerous to the patient's body since it targets the tumor directly and no to little damage to neighboring cells.

Traveling from Philippines to China for the treatment would be expensive and would cost us a lot. But it is better than going through the same conventional process which arguably had done more harm than good to her health. We cannot let her go for another chemotherapy because it affects not only the tumor but also damage the rest of the her body. Cancer is a very scary disease. It's the worst thing someone can go through.

Mothers are the light of a familys home. Our mother meant everything to us, she is the sunshine in our life. We wont let cancer take her away from us. I just wish people knew what kind of a person she is.

She graduated in college with a major in cosmetology and is a beautician. She loves doing make up and she is a talented hairstylist.

She is a person with a big and warm heart is is always willing and happy to help others without expecting anything in return. She is the kindest and most unselfish person i have ever known. She is a people person and being a beautician that she is, she is a chit chatter and she loves joking around and would laugh a lot with her customers. It's hard to see how much a person's life is altered and how it's being changed by a disease.

Noone goes through a battle alone, we are reaching out to people and pray for a helping heart to come and lend a hand for our family and help us with my mother's fight against cancer.

Above is the estimate of how much it will cost for the treatment, not including the fare and allowances to go to China.
