The situation here in Cyprus with the cats, is absolutely dire. I’m putting this plea out to desperately try & get some help. I am one person alone trying to tackle this problem & help the poor kitties. I work very close by to a cemetery here in Limassol, which is the “local dumping ground” for cats & kittens of all ages. I often arrive at work in the mornings to find new cats, some old with clear health issues, some tiny kittens that are not even old enough to be taken from their mothers & some just generally in terrible condition. I am here 7 days a week, not only trying to do my job but also deal with the overwhelming amount of cats I now have here, I can’t tell you the mental & financial strain this is having on myself. I am feeding around 50cats at the cemetery, as well as 10 outdoor cats at my home & 15 indoors that need help. Also I have 45 cats in a secure enclosed outdoor area & I hand feed 3+ tiny babies at this moment, you can imagine the burden right😞. I am going through a huge amount of cat food as you can imagine & also kitten formula for the ones to young to eat alone, not to mention the medication I use daily for eye issues, worming etc, so you can imagine the cost involved. The other problem i have is the neutering, I work closely with a local vet who will offer a discount for the TNR, but again how do I fund this alone on my salary, but TNR is a must . My work place is absolutely over run with cats & kitten, old ones, sick ones, tiny babies & the reality is the sick ones should be separated off in their own room, but where, where am I supposed to put them. I live in a very small accommodation with no place to put these poor kitties. I am one person trying to help 100+ cats & I can’t continue to do this alone, I’m pleading for help , each day I go to work is almost 100% guarantee that some other cat has been dumped at my feeding area over night. I’m pleading for help to at least continue to feed them & give them the very basics but without your help I can’t do this. Any donation would be hugely appreciated, no amount is too small to help with feeding & neutering. If anyone feels they are in a position to sponsor the neuter of a cat, I’m happy to provide costs also
