Support motivated law students from Nepal to participate in an international competition in Albania.

Our team from Kathmandu University School of Law, Nepal has been selected for the 38th Edition of Jean-Pictet Competition, 2022. This competition is a unique training program allowing students to gain robust knowledge and experience in the domain of International Humanitarian Law. Given our selection into the Jean-Pictet 2022 competition, and based on our written submission, we were also provided with access to universality fund that helps cover 500 Euro out the total 1250 registration cost to partake in the competition. For the remaining amount, we vehemently tried our best to collect it through different donor agencies. Despite all roadblocks we're facing, we are also contributing funds at our own expenses as much as we can. We have been reaching out to people to support us considering our strong urge to learn and in addition, we are hosting this campaign to help us collect the necessary funds for our registration fees, airfare and visa expenses.

We, Aakriti Subedi, Yagyadi Acharya, and Bishal Bajagain are a group of International Humanitarian Law enthusiasts who have been aiming to be a part of this competition from the very first moment of our law school journey. All of us have had direct or indirect experiences and tremors of massive political and social-economic turmoil in the country. The physiological remains of an enormous humanitarian crisis have some way or the other implanted curiosity in the field of humanitarian law. Thus, we are very eager to participate in this prestigious competition and are looking forward to it. In light of these scenarios, we're hopeful that we will make it to the competition with greater zeal and enthusiasm. Nonetheless, any kind of financial assistance will help us move towards our goal without any adversities.

We assure you that we shall respect the fund provided, ensure transparency of any information required, and utilize the given platform with the best of us. The fund collected will be used to cover our registration fees, airfare expenses along with visa fees and travel insurance associated with the journey. Nevertheless, if we do not succeed to raise the full amount ( we're more than hopeful that we'll succeed to reach the target) and fail to attend the event, we commit to reimburse the financial assistance granted by the donors.
