Living by Faith

Hey, Hey, Hey friends and family!

I just want to say thank you so much for partnering with me the last few years in my journey of preparing to go to Japan and while I have been here. I know that through your prayers and encouragement in Christ there is no way I would have been able to do this alone. <3

I shared a post a few weeks back about some personal things that were going on, but I want to share on here too. About a two months ago, I started getting bad allergies and without taking the proper time to rest it turned into severe bronchitis and asthma. I began having issues taking care of myself and the daily tasks of my work along with deadlines.

After praying through my decision, I realized that I needed to quit my work because I was not healing, but also it was pulling me further from my ultimate goal in being in Japan. Due to being sick quite a bit from the past few months, I have no savings. My last paycheck that I will receive from work (August 25th) will have my taxes from July 2019-May 2020 taken out. I don't think I will have enough money for transportation (going to and from church), meeting with people, paying for my rent, utilities, food, and other miscellaneous items. The amount requested would cover two months of bills if I cannot find work under my current visa (which is good for 4.5 years).

I'm reaching out because I realize the importance of really being able to share in not only the joys, but the struggles in life. For me, this is honestly difficult because I find my role as more of the helper for others. But I realize if I consider you all my family in Christ, I have to learn to be open in receiving help and prayer. I am asking for help and support to continue my stay in Japan until I am able to find work with my current visa. I fully believe that God is using this time to help build my trust in Him that He has a good plan for me here.
