Tsak Bam Festival 2019

Hi! I am the Rabbit of Tsak Bam Festival. I was born in the summer of 2017 on the island of Aegina, Greece. I gathered a group of artists who live on the island and/or visit it on a regular basis to co-create a spontaneous festival for Contemporary Art. We did it!! And for two consecutive years, in 2017 and 2018, in a magical pistachio field in the area of Kavouropetra in Aegina, artists from Aegina, Athens, The Netherlands, Austria and Spain gathered to present their work: video art, performances, stand-up comedy, dance, installation, documentary films and concerts. We also had workshops. We even had little bar. And you know what, many people came! All this happened with the hard work of our volunteer team and the support from the public’s free donations.

I want it to happen again! And for this I need your support.

This year’s Tsak Bam Festival will take place on the 12, 13, 14 of July in the same pistachio field where it took place the last two years, in areas which will have been prepared adequately.

Since we have no institutional funders and are keen to remain independent, we need financial support, which will:

• Support the artists and their work, because without them there would be no festival.
• Help us cover some of the technical needs of the festival
• Support a collective effort to bring, promote and create contemporary art outside the city centres, where art is often missing. 


Any kind of contribution, small or big is welcome!
