Help Monkie’s Support Organic Farmers

Monkie's Fruit Store is a small start up social enterprise supporting small holder organic farmers,producers and promoting locally grown and produce products by selling them in our store. In the process of selling we also provide livelihood opportunities to urban poor women by serving as our sales and product distributors. We purchased all of our products on a cash basis from our farmer and producer supplier since most of them don't have rotating capital and cannot afford to offer and do business on credit terms which is also quite challenging for us since we also have limited cash flow. The money that I am raising is going to help us stacked up on our inventory for the next two months in preparation for the holiday season. We need to buy bulk orders from our producers and some are asking advance payments so they could finance their production activities.

The $ 2000 dollars that I am raising will allow us to purchase 3000 packs of rice coffee, 2000 packs of banana chips, 1500 pieces of assorted mushroom products(pastes,seasoning,noodles,chips),200 kilos of coco sugar, 1000 packs of corn sugar,200 liters of dairy products, 500 kilos of fresh produce. It will also provide income and a happy Christmas to six farmer and producer cooperatives and the 10 families of our product distributors.
