Supplied with Love!! ❤️✏️

Not only am I out to supply these children with love but these supplies are given with love, but not only that, caring, compassion and a true sense of human decency.

I truly believe that we can help all children have the basic needs that will lessen exclusion. When I say that, I mean when a child asks why another child doesn't have their pencil kit or the duo tangs that were on the class list. When they are asked these questions at a young age, they don't know and it's innocent, but as they grow up their awareness of why they don't have the school supplies or latest shoes that it really starts to impact them. Let's make school one step easier and supply the children with the basic necessities. Pencils, erasers, glue, art smocks, GYM SHOES, Kleenex, Sanitizer, duo tangs, note books etc... I can go on forever!

But there’s a problem...

Fun fact: the average Canadian Teacher supplies their classroom with roughly $525 from their own pockets (unless you have a great PPO!) and that can be yearly.

Serious fact: School Staff members will 75% of the time, spend their own money to help a child in their class or school. I have given money to a child for lunch and I'm simply a volunteer.

  • 1 in 8 Canadian households lives in poverty
  • Nearly 84% of Quebec Elementary school students living below the poverty line and living in the worst poverty are from Montreal
  • Some kids are coming back to school with stories of chalets weekends with their families and trips to Granby Zoo. Sadly, for others, it means they are going to happily have breakfast provided to them daily but will not be showing up with new school bags and new clothes.

Let's help out our community by supplying these basic needs to learn and grow and be successful adults.

Here’s what we’re doing about it!

It costs around $75 for the supplies listed for my daughter this year in grade 2. I also spent roughly $100 for a school bag and clothes. I was able to recycle many items.

  • The average middle class family will spend between $150 and $300 for supplies, shoes and clothes for their child to go back to school.
  • If we were to reach the goal of $1500 - I could help a minimum of 10 children with their needs. That number could go up depending on the needs required and the funding received.

My goal would be to have all children in our and the surrounding communities to have the basic needs they heed to be successful and happy.
