Bucket list trip

Hi! My name is Esteban, and I’m a student from Mérida, Mexico. I’ve always thought how it would be to travel to the country that always pops up in my dreams: India. The culture and people has always drawn my attention and respect. Their lifestyle, religion, food, music and basically everything has been so deep and meaningful to me, and there’s one thing I’ve wanted to do the most: do volunteering work there.

Recently, a group in my university posted an announcement about an academic and volunteering trip to India and Thailand. When I told my parents they got as excited as I did because of the academic and personal experience it would bring me, but the flight and accommodations prices are really high. That’s why I’m asking for a little of your support, whatever it is that you wanna help me with I’m gonna be so grateful, you have no idea. Also I’d like to start a photography project by the time the trip starts so I’ll take photos for everyone who helped me to show how grateful I am.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Esteban, y soy un estudiante de Mérida, Yucatán, México. Siempre me he imaginado cómo sería viajar al país que siempre pinté en mis sueños: India. La cultura y la gente siempre han llamado mi atención y respeto. Su estilo de vida, religión, comida, música y básicamente todo ha sido muy profundo y significativo para mí, y hay una cosa que he querido hacer: hacer trabajo voluntario allí.

Recientemente, un grupo de mi universidad publicó un anuncio sobre un viaje académico y de voluntariado a India y Tailandia. Cuando les conté a mis padres, se emocionaron tanto como yo por la experiencia académica y personal que me brindaría, pero los precios de los vuelos y el alojamiento son demasiado altos. Es por eso que estoy pidiendo un poco de tu apoyo, sea lo que sea con lo que quieras ayudarme, estaré muy agradecido, como no tienes idea.

También me gustaría comenzar un proyecto de fotografía para cuando inicie el viaje, así que haré un diario de fotos para todos los que me ayudaron y mostrar lo agradecido que estoy.
