Help fund for our newest baby rhino!

The rangers of Rhino Fund Uganda want to name the latest arrival to the rhino family 'Madam', after the current Executive Director, Angie Genade! She was born 26th August 2017.

Normally, we use naming of a new baby rhino as a fundraising opportunity but, by inviting the rangers to demonstrate their appreciation and esteem for Angie, the naming has a different focus. We would like to invite you to contribute to the welfare of the new baby and we are looking for just 50 people to donate $100, or 100 people to donate $50, or even 250 people to donate $20!

They personally want to name the newest baby rhino 'Madam' as she is the first female born in a while and as they cannot raise the 'standard charges' for naming a baby rhino, we are asking for your help!

Help fund their wishes by donating any amount to help such a humble cause.

We always raise money for the naming of rhinos to help fund our core activities, such as our community programs or infrastructure maintenance. This year, we are excited to dedicate the money raised to building the capacity of our anti-poaching teams with better equipment and training.

The NGO: Rhino Fund Uganda is an NGO, set up in 1997. They have re-introduced wild rhinos into Uganda, which went extinct in 1983, and are the only place where you can see them in the wild! Starting with 6 rhinos in 2005, there are now 21 on the sanctuary and this number will only increase!

The rangers: The rangers work tirelessly to protect these magnificent creatures. With 24-hour protection, the rhinos are in great hands and safe. We want to recognise their efforts and requests to name the newest baby rhino 'Madam' through raising the 'standard charges' on their behalf.
