My youngest brother Naveed Ahmed, who is now 21 years old, is diagnosed with Exogenous Cushing Syndrome 6 months ago. He was diagnosed with Psoriasis at the age of 17 and started getting treatment in which he used Clobetasol Cream (topical corticosteroid). At that time he was a highschool student but his 12 year education got delayed for almost 1 year due to Psoriasis all over his body. Clobetasol worked for him but excessive use caused Cushing Syndrome. He completed his freshmen year as a student of Media & Film but Cushing Syndrome caused osteoporosis, high blood pressure and low immune.

As there is lack of proper medical counseling in Pakistan so it took several months to understand Cushing Syndrome while his condition deteriorated. Now he is in ICU since last 5 days. Severe infections caused him breathing problems. Now with aggressive treatment in ICU, his infections are under-control.

However, the treatment has put the family in debts. His condition is treatable within 1 or 2 years but the treatment is expensive as it involves the consultancy from general physician, endocrinologist, dermatologist and orthopedic.

We need $1000 every month for his on-going treatment. Kindly help us while doctors tell us that his condition is reversible. With your help, he can be back to healthy life and complete his education and pursue his dreams.
