Help old folks connect with new technology!

I've been working in IT for many years now, helping all sorts of people with their technical issues. But theres one group of people i wish i could help more, and thats the elderly (55+). I always hear statements like 'technology is moving too quick, i give up' and 'the grandkids bought me this darn ipad but wont show me how to use it' .

So many times i've helped the elderly discover how to take a photo and send it via email, how to call their children on skype and how to get past that level on candy crush.. However some folk just cant afford to pay someone like me to help them and just go on with life not knowing about the wonders of technology and how it can help them keep in touch with family.

So thats why im starting this campaign, to raise funding so i can hold free classes and one on one sessions for the elderly to help them get back in touch with technology. I'll be offering this service in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
