Dear Family, Friends, and Helpful Strangers :) In just 4 short months ill be traveling to Uganda, Africa through a volunteer program called Global Volunteer Network. There, I have chosen to take part in remote orphanage care. Uganda is famous for its rampant poverty and devastatingly high AIDS population, which continues to grow. Each day children are left orphaned, sick, and homeless. Uganda's community relies on volunteers to spread their knowledge and love. I feel privileged to be able to take part in such an incredible experience. This is something I will take with me for the rest of my life. Volunteering does not come without expenses and the trip itself is costing almost $6,000. This is why I am asking for donations small or large, as any type of monetary donation will be appreciated. Blindly giving to charities is amazing, but sometimes you wonder, where is that money actually going? You lose that satisfaction of seeing how your money impacted someones life. So take a journey with me through Uganda, and I'll show you!
Rewards
I'll bring you many surprises only found in Uganda. If that doesnt entice you, I'll also spend an entire day with you in a chicken suit (Yes, I have access to a chicken suit). Lastly, an unavoidable residual effect of giving, is great karma.
