This request is being written in extreme desperation for help. This Eight years old girl, Shabnum, has PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS. She was taken to A&E of Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi today, 11/09/13 at 11:38am, with Tuberculoma with Seizure. Doctors have intimated that she requires immediate medical attention in Special Care Unit; otherwise, the situation might get even worse.
However, the money required for this is beyond her parents reach, as they don’t have much savings. Her father is a gatekeeper and mother works as a housemaid (pictures attached); their total monthly income is 9000 rupees, ($ 86) per month. They have 3 children and live in box room. Times have become very harsh for her family that her 16 years old brother, Asif, is doing labour jobs for 3000 rupees, ($ 29) per month, in the hope that his sister gets better.
Shabnum only hope is donations. She needs $2069 (please see the breakdown below). Your website has already helped many needy people like her, and hope for good from you. Please see all medical reports and hospital bills and charges attached. Sympathy (UK Charity 1136538) has pledged 20% for shabnum’s fight with TB. We shall be very grateful for your donations.
