Hi, I’m Dexter, a graduated interior design student from The One Academy. During my college years, I had developed a new hobby. I got into 3d modeling and 3d printing. I bought a 3d printer back in 2018, At first, I started it as a hobby. As COVID-19 pandemic outbreak started, I realize 3D printing has become a useful tool in the response to the coronavirus pandemic, at that time I knew 3d printing is more than just a hobby.

In May 2021, I found a community call e-NABLE. e-NABLE Community is an amazing group of individuals from all over the world who are using their 3D printers to create free 3D printed hands and arms for those in need of an upper limb assistive device. Hence, I came up with an ideal of 3d printing prosthetics arm with e-NABLE STL file for kids in need in Malaysia. As 3d printing in Malaysia is still not popular as other countries. I hope this campaign will catch more attention from the society of how it able to changes someone’s life.

The money raised from this campaign will be used to cover the costs of the materials and shipping fees for the prosthetic arms. The goal of mine is to print as much as prosthetics arms as I can during this Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia for those kids in needs.

Firstly, two prototypes will be printed out and send to local volunteers to test it out. After the prototypes testing, I will contact the local handicapped centre to send out the final prosthetics arms.

I am not from any community or team, I am just a graduated college student with limited financial resources. I hope I could get financial support from peoples around the world to make this campaign happened.

I really appreciate the support and donations.
