30.03 Debut Short Film

With the production of this short film, we hope to raise awareness of the dangers of road traffic in Romania, and the high risk of young adults losing their lives in such accidents. The film depicts a slow-paced memory-like representation of events leading up to the death of a young man, alternating with the coping process of his friends. The script was inspired by a true story.

By donating to this project you are not only contributing to the ongoing socio-political fight for recognition and change on the part of Romanian authorities and government, you are also offering a launching pad for Ruxi and her team as young artists in Romania to get their voice across!

Ruxi has worked on many film sets before university and during her time at the University of the Arts London. She has experience both in directing and writing, and in editing, set design and scheduling. She enjoys working with large groups to create complex projects and bring everyone’s ideas to life. During her final year on the (BA) Film Practice course at UAL, she was also president of the Drama Society and directed a play involving over 30 students from all around the world.
