Project Life Coach

Aim ~ To open a touring bus, which will offer people an experience of alternate living and natural healing.

The journey on the bus will encourporate the following things:

~ A structured daily routine of healthy eating, regular sleeping patterns, meditation and exercise such as yoga or other movement practices.

~ An environment which encourages open communication, sharing of ideas, knowledge and ambitions.

~ Experiences of team work, volunteer / exchange of work.

~ Lessons in natural living, through herbal medicines, food growth, simple homemade cosmetics and cleaning products.

~ A time period to practice living with these structures will give the student a supported learning environment where they can discuss issues and queries during their experience.

~ Advice about intergration of the structures into regular daily living will be made available.

~ Travel to various festivals, events and eco communities.

The 'Cycle for a Cycle' ride...

The first 1000km will start in Tolousse, France and take me through Spain to Idahna a Nova, Portugal, where I will stop at an eco festival for 8 days, I will gain much needed information about homemade products and an eco way of living which I will be able to use in the future. Of course there will be some dancing and yoga to stretch the legs just to ensure I'm ready for the long route home. I will then take the train from Portugal to Barcelona to complete the longest strech of the 'Cycle for a Cycle' from Barcelona, Spain to Rome, Italy, 1600km.

The money raised...

The money raised will be put into the development of 'Project Life Coach'. Starting with the Organisation registration, website design and a touring Bicycle shop. My aim is to raise £4000 to buy a good long lasting Rickshaw, which in time will be transportable on the Life Coach, used during festival and events with the same purpose.

There are many ways I could create the touring Bicycle shop:

~ A Personalised Rickshaw created new with electric assistance and a portable stall built on the back (£3000)

This is the best option, it will allow me to have the style and top quality I wish to uphold throughout the growth of Project Life Coach. It will be easier to move with the motorised assistance  and the frame will be strong enoush to support the Items of the shop.

~ A trailer with a hand built portable stall on the back (£2000)

I love to get creative with design and building, I recently designed and built a small coffee table for a friend, of course I had a little help with the tools, I would be very happy to build my own stall onto a trailer, however traveling to various locations would require alot of strength especially when going uphill.

~ A trailer containing all the things nessecary to set up a market wherever I wish (£200)

A last resort would be to simple carry a table and all the products to the location of the market, pack and unpack when nessecary. As a first step I would also be prepared to do this!

Your donation however much will move me one step closer to my dream!

Why a bicycle?

As we can all see, in towns and cities,  travel by car / motorcycle / van and public transport is becoming more and more stressful. Stuck in traffic jams, pumping fumes into the atmosphere and struggling to find parking or waiting for the bus and squeezing into a packed rush hour train. For me cycling has always been a part of my life, since my teen years riding through the forest, to my current life in Rome cycling through the busy streets, with the somewhat irrational Italian drivers. But I wouldn't change it for a thing. The benefits are endless; I have so much freedom with my bicycle, it actualy takes less time to travel from one side of Rome to the other on bicycle than it does on public transport. I save so much money on gym fees. NO CARBON EMMISSIONS. No taxes, insurance or tests to ride. I don't miss the beautiful side streets and hidden parks. Everyday on a bicycle is an adventure, even the days when the skies open and you find a waterfall at the end of your nose. A Rickshaw would work perfectly as a travelling bicycle shop and as the first stage of Project Life Coach, it will enable awareness of the project to grow as well as the finances for the project.

I will leave Toulousse on the 15th July and to arrive in Rome on the 7th September. The trip can be followed at www.cycleforacycle.blogspot.it and more about the project can be seen at www.facebook.com/cometolifewithus

Please share the event and give a donation to help 'The Life Project' Come to Life <3
