200 Kids for Study Tour Program Jogjakarta

We are Box of Happiness non-profit organization, raising money for our social community partner Komunitas Harapan. We want to hold a study tour program for 200 underprivileged children on January 27th, 2019.

Since 2013, Komunitas Harapan has been providing after-school program for hundreds of underprivileged children living in urban slum area of Semarang City, Indonesia. We want to give reward to the children who have been actively joining the after-school program and improving their academic/non-academic skills. As reward, we want to hold a study tour program in Jogjakarta City where children can gain new knowledge and have a recreation.

The founder of Komunitas Harapan passed away few months ago before we could bring the study tour program to realization. Therefore, it is our duty to obey his unfulfilled promise to hold a study tour program for the children.

The expenses for the event:

Transportation (4 Buses from Semarang- Jogjakarta): 4 x $400 = $1600
Joga Bay Ticket (200 children): 200 x $8 = $1600
Vredenburg Castle (200 children) : 200 x $1 = $200
Morning Snack (200 children): 200 x $1 = $200
Breakfast and Dinner (200 children): 200 x $2 = $400

TOTAL Expenses : $4000

COLLECTED fund : $2000

LACK : $2000

These children have been dreaming to have a study tour program in Jogjakarta. We only have short time to fulfill the fund until January 27th 2019. But, we believe with your love and kindness, we will be able to make their dream come true!

If we are able to achieve our goal, we promise to document our moments and upload it on social media and youtube. So, everybody can also enjoy our study tour and see our happiness!
