Campaign Story
Yggy Protacio is a 13 year old son, brother to 3 other siblings, student, friend, and teammate who dedicated most of his time and effort into sports such as basketball, running, boxing, and biking. Last March 2, 2017, he got into a tragic accident which resulted into multiple injuries and possible organ failure. Due to this unfortunate incident, his liver, intestines, kidneys, and lungs were severely affected. Not only his internal organs, but his pelvic bone and lower extremities as well. He is currently undergoing dialysis for his kidneys every other day. These have caused his medical bills to pile up, and as of today, his hospital bill is estimated to be around Php1.5 million and counting. He has further operations to undergo and one of which is a kidney transplant. All these came at a time when the family was undergoing a family crossroad with his younger brother being diagnosed with a congenital heart ailment. His younger brother is being cared for by their mother, a housewife while Yggy is living with their dad, an employee of a local distributor of medical devices. Yggy is currently receiving medical treatment in UST Hospital, Manila, Philippines.
Your donation will surely go a long way for this young student-athlete and his family. No donation is too small.
