BRAVE 💔 Named after the incredible bravery he has shown so far. He was found in rural area of Pyrgos in Ileia, Peloponnese. Thrown away in the rubbish, starved and seriously ill. He is 10 years old but has shown an incredible will to live. His blood tests showed leishmaniasis, Canine Ehrlichiosis, toxoplasmosis and hemolytic staphylococcus! He has successfully fought them off with antibiotics, blood transfusions and 3 hemodialysis. He is currently still in intensive care at the PET ANIMAL HOSPITAL '''BLUE CROSS ✝️"', in Chalkida near to Athens and the cost of his medical care has surpassed 2000 euros. He is improving daily so WE WILL NOT GIVE UP! He deserves to live the rest of his years being healthy and happy. He needs to experience how it feels to be loved and cared for. We have exhausted all our private funds and we ask for your help to get him back on his feet. Every little donation help, we are counting on all the kind people out there to help. He is a hero and he deserves the world.

Update 3rd April 2021: Brave has proven to be a fighter once again! After many treatments including haemodialysis, antibiotics, injections to increase his blood count and a special diet, Brave is now living a relatively healthy life. Although he will never be healthy enough to be adopted, we have made arrangement to spend the rest of his life in a hospice provided by the clinic BLUE CROSS. There he is constantly monitored, receives his medication and continues with his supplements and diet. The amount for his multiple treatments have been covered by ourselves and the generous donations we received but his stay in the hospice costs us 300euros per month for as long as he is alive. BRAVE 💔 Vernoemd naar de ongelooflijke moed die hij tot nu toe heeft getoond. Hij werd gevonden op het platteland van Pyrgos in Ileia, Peloponnesos. Weggegooid bij het afval, uitgehongerd en ernstig ziek. Hij is 10 jaar oud maar heeft een ongelooflijke wil om te leven getoond. Zijn bloedonderzoek toonde leishmaniasis, Canine Ehrlichiose, toxoplasmose en hemolytische stafylokokken! Hij is van allen hersteld met antibiotica, bloedtransfusies en hemodialyse. Hij ligt momenteel nog op de intensive care van het dierenziekenhuis '' BLUE CROSS ✝️'' in Chalkida, ATHENS en de kosten van zijn medische zorg zijn inmiddels meer dan 2.000 euro. Hij verbetert dagelijks, dus WE ZULLEN NIET OPGEVEN! Hij verdient het om de rest van zijn jaren gezond en gelukkig te leven. Hij moet ervaren hoe het voelt om verzorgd te worden in een liefdevolle omgeving. We hebben al onze privé-middelen uitgeput en we vragen uw hulp om hem weer op de been te krijgen.
