Hi everyone,

Our family is so grateful by the generosity we have received from family, friends, and good hearted people from all over the world. Thank you to those who are spreading the message about Elaine's story and her recovery on our behalf.

Elaine was admitted to the emergency room yesterday for a full medical evaluation, which included x-rays and various blood tests. Elaine still has 3 pieces of shrapnel left in her body. The ER doctor advised to not remove them at this moment.  

Elaine may need physical therapy since parts of her muscle and nerves were damaged.  She will need routine follow-ups and possibly care from medical specialists in the near future.

We will continue to keep you all updated.  Once again, thank you to all those that have donated both financially and emotionally.
