Zwakele Goes to America

I have been selected to attend the World Bank Youth Summit in Washington, DC which will take place on the 4th to the 5th of December this year. We will be discussing some exciting issues on Technology and Innovation for Impact. It is important especially important for me, coming from a so-called Developing Country - South Africa. It will be my first time in the USA. I AM SO EXCITED!

While I am in America I would love to visit two other amazing American cities, Chicago, IL and New York City before I come back to South Africa as a long-time dream. I have been able to arrange through friends and the kindness of strangers, accommodation in these two cities. I have calculated other expenses to this to amount to $987 for the 4 days (flights, food, in-city commutes and paid tourist attractions). On conclusion of the Summit, I plan to first go to Chicago for 2 days and then to New York CIty before I come back to South Africa.

Please help in making this a memorable trip.
