Help Me and my sister Fund our Tuition

PLEASE HELP ME AND MY SISTER FUND OUR TUITION

My name is Zowie, 20 years old and a 2nd year college student taking up Industrial Engineering and living in the Philippines. Last March 16, 2020 all classes ended immediately and everybody were ask to stay in their homes due to Covid-19 virus. I was in Grade 12 at that time. My batch is the first batch to experience a Moving Up Ceremony in Grade 10 then in grade 12 senior high school we graduated without a ceremony. Then a good news came just before the opening of class in August, I received the acceptance letter from the University and we were so happy that I got in.

As months passed by still we were on lockdown my mom began to worry when my dad's company declared bankruptcy also due to Covid. She was and still worried about her income. She is a self-employed swim teacher and an academic tutor on the side. She is always on classes or at tutor most of the time but also made sure to have time for me and my 16 year old sister, Brixie, with our school lesson and everything we need. My mom's income depends on kids or student. Since March 2020 till early 2023 student stayed in their respective homes having their classes online.

Last April 2021, I tried applying for a school scholarship but there was no vacant slot. I also tried to apply for a government scholarship but I was told that the Department of Education scholarship program was suspended since the budget of our government was focused on food assistance and medical purposes for the entire country.

Last August 2020, My mom was able to enrol me for the 1st semester in college paying only a downpayment and same with my incoming grade 9 sister. My mom was not able to pay my sister's entire grade 9 tuition and was able to enrol her in grade 10 paying again just the downpayment and a promissory note to pay the balance before the school year ends meaning the unpaid balance is entire grade 9 and grade 10 and school ends in May. Same goes with my 1st, 2nd, 3rd and now 4th. My mom paid a small amount and a promise letter for the school to allow me to enrol.

We all thought everything will be back to normal but then we were hit by super typhoon rai last December 16, 2021. House was damaged, no light and no water. There was even a shortage of supplies in grocery stores. People panicking to buy water and gas. We did not even know when christmas came.

All of my parents savings were gone. They do not have any property since we are living with my grandmother. My Mama Ritz, my 76 year old grandmother with her very big heart shared her small retirement pension to us mainly for our food. She postpones in buying her medicines for maintenance so she could share it with us.

My parents and grandmother kept thinking for ways to loan and whatever it is just to find money. I know my mom is so worried and not sleeping well and kept thinking. I want to help her. Education is very important here in my country since it is the only way to get a good earning job.

I want to help them by raising money in my own way for both me and my sister's tuition till we finish school so my mom will not worry about our school fees, my grandmother can go to the doctor for regular check-up and can buy her medicine and my dad can find another job to pay house damage and our basic needs and save again.

Each help that I will received would mean so much to my family but most especially to me and my sister. I will update and post every time I pay my tuition with your help. My sister and I will forever be grateful.
