That is hello in Shona, one of the languages spoken in Zimbabwe.

Over the last two years I have had the privilege of getting to know people and their stories from Africa through their visits in Germany.

The struggling economy and the joy of life have both resonated in their lives and have opened my eyes in many ways.

It has made me excited and passionate to go to Zimbabwe myself for the first time.

With hands on work and visits to the aids station in hospitals, I will not only see the change made but also contribute and be a part.

In partnership with the Celebration Centre I am to able to help and experience the so called Zimbabwean Hustle. A completely different outlook on business, work and life.

So why support some random person on gogetfunding?

My name is Leonie, I am 17 years old and a scouts leader in St. Andrew Church Hamburg as well as a member of the band of the youth church STA Hamburg. I am the leader of the dance ministry, as well as the homeless project and other events the STA Hamburg Church organizes. My trip will be in June 2018 and 6 weeks on. In the Celebration Church I will have the opportunity to learn about all their departments, setting the focus on dancing their cultural expression.
