Zilina Girls Underage Football Team

In Žilina, northern Slovakia, we have a have a small club for Girls underage football, for which our children play, some of whom have exceptional talents and skills beyond their years. In Slovakia, football is very much a male dominated sport, and unfortunately all funds are usually directed towards the boy's and men's teams. Our city, host's the current Slovak Champions, MSK Žilina, but unfortunately our team is very much left behind in financial as well as emotional sponsorship. We are looking for support in the most basic of requirements, such as being able to provide regular rented training facilities, equipment, sports jerseys that fit and being able to provide regular hosting of competitions for children in the region.

We as a group of parents are concerned that the club has reached a tipping point and could close down soon. We are doing our best to keep the club open from our own pockets and time, but we are seeking sponsorship to help maintain this sporting activity for children and to ensure that it is sustainable going forward and provides a much needed alternative sport for girls. We are very proud of our daughters, their achievements and with just a little more assistance we can show you a talented winning team with your help. In the past 12 months, our team has on many occasions won or come a close second in competitions. Any assistance no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
