Zeus Cochlear Implant Surgery

My name is Venus Celin from Bacayan Cebu City. I'm the proud and lucky Mother of two handsome boys. Zeus Ryle is my youngest son,he is 2 years old,he is very strong and tough since the day he was born. Zeus was born with heart problem and hearing problem.

His heart problem was Patent ductus arteriosus(PDA),luckily after a year we able to fix his heart problem with the help of Rotary Club of Cebu West. Zeus was diagnosed with BILATERAL PROFOUND HEARING LOSS, his only hope to have access to all sounds and subsequently develop audition and spoken communication abilities is to undergo COCHLEAR IMPLANT SURGERY on both ears. However, cost estimate for a cochlear implant surgery may reach up to a million pesos for the device, hospitalization, professional fees, and long term auditory rehabilitation. We are now in the process of raising funds to cover for the cost of the procedure.

It pains us that until now,he cannot even call us "PaPa/Mom" and we long for him to say "I love you" to us.

We are very hopeful for a brighter future he will have through the benefits provided by the implant.
