Zdenda´s Medical Fund

Our younger son, Zdenek, was born with rare disease Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), type II. There has not been an available treatment in the Czech Republic so far. Government recently approved the Spiranza but it will be only available for treatments of SMA type I. The best way to keep our son’s quality life is rehabilitation. The rehabilitation is including every day exercising and stretching which are the triggers to slow down the disease.
