Campaign Story
Hi everyone. My name is Zak Holmes and I'm desperately in need of financial backers to help me reach my 2018 Karate Goals . I'm a South African National Protea Karate athlete and am currently among the top 4 ranked athletes in my age and weight division for Kumite in South Africa.I feel very honored and privileged to have been selected to compete in 5 different KSA tournaments all across Southern Africa this year but the financial burden is standing in my way. Unfortunately Karate is not paid for or subsidized by our organisation, region , province or government. Athletes are solely responsible for all Travel costs. My parents have been my greatest supporters in my 13 year long journey and sadly I can see that I'm starting to put a financial strain on them and they simply just can't afford to pay for all these trips. My heart is shattered but the dream is still very much alive and only through YOUR help can it be a reality.
