Zagreb Earthquake – FOREO International Fundraiser

Dear FOREO family,

As you probably know, Zagreb was hit with an earthquake on March 22nd 2020, the strongest one in the past 140 years, that measured 5.5 on the Richter scale. The city has experienced a lot of material damage, mostly buildings and houses, and one fatality.

Unfortunately, some of our colleagues and their homes have been severely damaged and destroyed. Our hearts go out to you friends. This is a tough period, but try and stay strong until the situation has settled down.

We as a FOREO family want to help them as much as we can. We have organized some facilities and offered shelter at our premises (with safety distance in mind), but this we feel is not enough for those who literally lost their homes in one night.

Following this, we have set up this fundraising campaign for donations that will be given to our colleagues and their families. We want to share this with the entire FOREO organization so we can reach all parts of the world. We are hoping we can all chip in and help our long time colleagues that are in need during this Covid19 outbreak (not to mention a snow storm that has hit Zagreb this morning on top of everything). Go Get Funding requires us to define a fundraising goal, we have decided to set it for 20000 euros, but we are certain this is a more than realistic goal if we unite :)

Please have in mind that any size of donation no matter how small, is more than welcome and highly appreciated.

At times like these when everything looks and feels overwhelming, what makes us happy and fills us with hope and joy is the possibility to help others who need it even more.

Let's show once again what FOREO family can do when united as a community. Let's show our big hearts and help them get back on their feet.
