Help my son Luka walk

My name is Marijan Novak, I come from the small village of Kozarac near Beli Manastir and my only wish in the world is for my son Luka to walk. Namely, I would like to ask you for help to my four-year-old son who was born as a neuro-risky child with a hypertonic and dystonic pattern. It is a diagnosis that can lead to permanent paralysis of the child.

Our Luka was born on March 30, 2017. years. Nine months after his birth, he was diagnosed as a parent, which threw him into despair and despair. Every parent wonders why us? Then you accept the situation as it is and realize that unfortunately others are happening as well. Of course we did everything we could before we could help our child. Since only I, the father, work, the financial income is not enough for all the expenses that require treatment which is extremely expensive. We knocked and asked for help on all possible sides, people of good heart helped us and in that way helped us a lot in the previous therapies for Luka. Due to the impossibility of paying for the therapy on our own, we organized a charity concert two years ago, which was extremely well attended and raised funds for Luka's initial therapies. However, over time, we go to a point of complete financial exhaustion. We found ourselves in front of a wall with the question what next? How to help a helpless child who is now four years old and still not walking. There are shifts, but they are very small, but big for us, so therapies should still be implemented. Fighting this disease is extremely difficult, but we must not stop, we must rise and search, knock and pray.

Luka is an extremely intelligent child with a big heart, an infectious smile who lives life with a lot of love. Our little angel with long blonde hair. His only wish is to walk. To stand on his little feet, which he will lead through the life he deserves. Nothing is difficult for him to participate in the exercises, he utters sentences, plays and laughs happily. The anticipated duration of neurorehabilitation is 24 weeks, which, according to many years of experience, is necessary to achieve optimal progress. The number of therapy hours is 25 per week while the estimated duration of therapy is prescribed for 24 weeks. The total amount of such therapies from the 24th week is HRK 180,000.00. The therapies that Luke would need now are the ones that are guided by robots as they are the most effective in putting Luke on his feet.

We as parents have nowhere else to go. We are forced to ask for help this way so that we can continue with the therapies. Please help Luka to start his childhood as a healthy and happy child, and we ask you to participate in our humanitarian fundraising campaign for robotic therapy at the Glavić Polyclinic in Zagreb.

Zovem se Marijan Novak, dolazim iz malog sela Kozarac pored Belog Manastira i jedina moja želja na svijetu jest da moj sin Luka prohoda. Naime ovim putem Vas želim zamoliti za pomoć mom četverogodišnjem sinu koji je rođen kao neuro-rizično dijete sa hipertoničnim i distoničnim obrascem. Dijagnoza je to koja može dovesti do trajne paralize djeteta.

Naš Luka je rođen 30.03.2017. godine. Devet mjeseci nakon rođenja ustanovljena mu je dijagnoza koja nas je kao roditelje bacila u beznađe i očaj. Svaki roditelj se pita zašto baš nama? Onda prihvatiš situaciju kakva je i shvatiš da se nažalost to događa i drugima. Naravno da smo poduzeli sve kako bismo čim prije pomogli našem djetetu. Budući da samo ja, otac, radim, financijski prihodi nisu dovoljni za sve troškove koji iziskuju liječenje koje je izuzetno skupo. Kucali smo i tražili pomoć na svim mogućim stranama, pomogli su nam ljudi dobrog srca te nam na taj način uvelike pomogli u dosadašnjim terapijama za Luku. Zbog nemogućnosti samostalnog plaćanja terapija, organizirali smo prije dvije godine humanitarni koncert koji je bio iznimno posjećen i kojim smo skupili sredstva za početne Lukine terapije. Međutim, s vremenom, dođemo do trenutka potpune financijske iscrpljenosti. Našli smo se pred zidom s pitanjem što dalje? Kako pomoći nemoćnom djetetu koje je sada napunilo četiri godine i još uvijek ne hoda. Pomaci postoje, no oni su vrlo mali, ali za nas veliki, zato terapije i dalje treba provoditi. Borba s ovom bolesti je izuzetno teška, ali ne smijemo stati, moramo se dići i tražiti, kucati i moliti .

Luka je izuzetno inteligentno dijete velikog srca, zaraznog osmijeha koji s puno ljubavi živi život. Naš mali anđeo duge plave kose. Želja mu je samo da hoda. Da stane na svoje malene nožice, koje će ga provesti kroz život kakav zaslužuje. Ništa mu nije teško sudjeluje u vježbama, izgovara rečenice igra se i veselo smije. Predviđeno trajanje neurorehabilitacije je 24 tjedna koji su prema dugogodišnjem iskustvu, potrebni za postizanje optimalnog napretka. Broj sati terapije je 25 tjedno dok je procjena trajanja terapije propisana za 24 tjedna. Ukupan iznos takve terapije od 24 tjedna iznosi 180,000,00 kuna. Terapije koje bi Luka sada trebao su one koje se vode pomoću robota budući da su one najučinkovitije u postavljanju Luke na noge.

Mi kao roditelji nemamo više kuda. Prisiljeni smo ovim putem moliti pomoć kako bismo mogli nastavili s terapijama. Molimo Vas da pomognete kako bi Luka započeo svoje djetinjstvo kao zdravo i sretno dijete te vas molimo da sudjelujete u našoj humanitarnoj akciji prikupljanja sredstava za robotsku terapiju u Poliklinici Glavić u Zagrebu.
