Youth Worker Exchange Trip

I currently work in youth work through a non-profit agency and I have been given the opportunity to travel to New Zealand and Australia for 2 weeks to learn, work and volunteer with other youth work agencies. The puprose for this trip is learn new and exciting ways to serve the youth in my community. I will also visit and shadow youth workers from both New Zealand and Australia to learn about their interactions, strategies and struggles with youth work in their communities. Ultimately, this trip will provide an increased understanding of how youth work is mainted in both New Zealand and Australia and give me new ideas to take back to my organization. 

At this time, I need to raise $1500 in order to participate on the trip. The money will go towards travel and lodging expenses. The trip will take place during March 8th-23rd, 2014.
