Introduction
The 1st Annual Youth Unite Hip-Hop vs. Poetry Festival is rapidly approaching. The 2016 Festival will be held on the 01st October 2016 and is shaping up to be the most exciting ever. The following is from the recently adopted Business Plan for Hip-Hop vs. Poetry Festival 2016:
Purpose Statement
The Hip-Hop vs. Poetry Festival exists to:
Showcase, promote our Local (Aliwal North) Hip-Hop/Poetry artist’s Talent and to expose the upcoming artists who have not reached the limelight as yet and to pre-celebrate the Day of Reconciliation together.
Showcase how successful have made it in the entertainment industry.
Showcase how responsible business is a key part of community’s success
Inspire businesses to take action and integrate corporate responsibility into their business culture
providing an entertainment night suitable for the rainbow nation through music and poetry and culminating in a reconciled Mzansi
