Youth Line Ride for Life, Cycle Hanoi to Saigon Vietnam

We are going to Cycle from Hanoi to Saigon in Vietnam to raise awareness to Youth related issues, Starting on the 2nd April we will leave Hanoi and start the journey to Saigon, stopping and talking to students on the way and talking to them about the issues facing them and way to overcome those issues,

We plan on developing a website not just to highlight our Journey through Vietnam, but to give the youth a format that they can use to talk to people confidentially and get advice on how to deal with this issues, Mobile Phone use is very high in Vietnam so the end goal is to develop an app that can be used for the same purpose because that would have a far greater reach,

We are establishing to ensure young people know where to get help and can access support when they need it. At the core of Youth line’s work is the development of leadership and personal skills in young people. We do this by involving young people; both those who seek assistance and those who wish to develop themselves.

We wish to support Youth who are dealing with issues such as Bullying, Dealing with Abuse or Violence, Drugs or Alcohol, Mental Disorders (Depression), Your Body, Sex, Relationships and Sexual Orientation.

OUR VISION:

To ensure young people know where to get help and can access support when they need it. At the core of Youth line’s work is the development of leadership and personal skills in young people. We do this by involving young people; both those who seek assistance and those who wish to develop themselves.

We are Focused on building opportunities where young people, families and communities work together to ensure that young people are engaged in ways that "light their fire", are able to help a friend out when distressed and a champion of change, are ok about asking for help if they need it and to know where to go to get that help, be that friends, families or Youth Line.

The essential DNA of our work is interweaving of the three aspects of operation that makes Youth Line unique

1. Engaging and involving (young) people,
2. Evolving and developing (young) people and then
3. Providing meaningful and real ways to give back to the community.

So Youth Line Ride for Life will be away to make awareness to the communities of Vietnam, what we are going to do and to get the the support behind the program's we are developing to Help the Youth and their families along with the communities that they live. It was also be away to raise some funds to continue the work that we are doing in this area.
