Campaign Story
We are a group of six youth advocating for better livelihood of our deprived community in northern part of Kenya. Our people especially youth are likely to be a stigmatized from poor livelihood in the area. This is the reason came together to pursue a common goal and envision a community where all people especially the youth have access to the
opportunities, skills, resources and relationships they need to
actualize their potential.
The core purpose of this initiative is to empower young people to improve their lives and the lives of others in our community. Specific objectives of the initiative are: Provision of opportunities for
youth to participate in the economic and social life of both regions,
facilitating access for youth to the environment of work; better
understanding of the key elements of employability skills and sound
business development.
An agent of change speaks up and doesn't sit around waiting for other to take action. We must say that we think being a change agent is a noble aspiration. This initiative is for the good of youth in our community.
