The campaign aims to fund raise for a week long youth conference in December 2018 with an objective to equip 100 young people with life skills to enable them make informed decisions in order to achieve their dreams and goals in life .

Take Charge Community Initiative (community based organization going to host the conference) team observed that there is a very high school drop out rate and this is majorly due to early pregnancy in Kabarole district in western Uganda. When the team made a quick situation analysis, observations made pointed to lack of proper and guided information on sexual reproductive health, poor communication, interpersonal and decision making skills among young people .

The team discussed the matter with school leaders and a recommendation for guidance and mentoring sessions for young people was made. There after, a decision to have a conference was made. The conference will have sessions to guide the young people to make informed decisions in situations they face today and in the future, film shows that will steer candid discussions about adolescent growth and development, inspirational talks and games that will foster positive interaction. This will be the first of its kind and we hope to make it an annual event.
