Your Help is Mama’s Hope

'There is nothing more heartbreaking than seeing your mother suffer in pain.'

As a family, we are taking the courage and optimism to find ways and means and exhaust all possibilities there are to save a very precious life for all of us. At this trying time of our lives, we strongly cling to what God has promised us - that we will never be alone in all our struggles and trials.

With fingers crossed, in all humility, we appeal to you as we are currently battling against financial constraint. Our mother, Ramonita S. Balicas, 67, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma back in 2018 and is currently fighting against it. Recently, a has tumor has grown in her frontal right temporal lobe which is aggravating her situation, causing her to lose her right eye’s vision. Worse, the right side of her face has already lost its sensation.

Positive that we can and should do everything for our mother, we brought her to Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City, Philippines for her chemotherapy and radiation sessions, and both require big amount of money estimated to be around P160,000 or more than $3000 per month for 4-6 months. Her tumor is exponentially growing and immediate treatment is needed.

Our family is honestly incapable of raising these figures and in fact, by the sight alone of this, we are almost tempted to lose hope. But we remain steadfast with the faith that we can be given help, that help can never be impossible.

We are knocking at the doors of your heart today. In your kindness, may you give us the chance to be blest with the help that you can give to help us lengthen the years of a precious gem at home.
